If you're trying to track down Metal Brackets in Arc Raiders, it helps to know where people actually have luck instead of just wandering around for ages. The safest route is to focus on loot zones tied to Electrical and Mechanical gear, while keeping an eye on ARC Raiders Items if you want to plan your runs around what you still need.
In practice, Mechanical areas are the first place most players check. You'll often find useful containers, workstations, and utility spots there, and that is where Metal Brackets seem to show up most often. Electrical zones are worth the detour too, especially when a map marks them clearly. If you spot Industrial loot nearby, it is smart to sweep that as well, since some of the trade materials linked to Metal Brackets can turn up there.
How to Farm Them Without Wasting Time
The trick is not to clear the whole map. That usually turns into a slow mess. Instead, pick one route, hit the right loot labels, and move on once you've searched the main objects. Players often have better results when they stick to a short loop and keep an eye on generator-like equipment, storage crates, and other machine-focused spots.
  1. Open the map and look for Mechanical loot first.
  2. Check Electrical areas on the same route if they are close by.
  3. Search portable generators, utility boxes, and other machine-style loot.
  4. If the run is going badly, swing through Industrial spots for Rusted Tools.
  5. Extract as soon as you've got what you need, since losing the run is painful.
That last point matters more than people admit. Metal Brackets are useful for project turn-ins, and you do not want to get greedy after finally finding a few. The Converging Paths project asks for five of them during Stage 3, so every safe extraction saves you another run.
If you have access to the trader rotation, there is another path. Rusted Tools can be traded for Metal Brackets through Nomadic Envoys, which gives you some breathing room if drops are not going your way. A lot of players end up farming a mix of Mechanical and Industrial loot just to keep that option open, and honestly, that's often the smarter move. If you want a cleaner route and fewer dead ends, keep an eye on ARC Raiders BluePrints for sale while you build up the rest of your materials. It saves time when you need a specific piece and do not want to gamble on one more unlucky raid.
